Pupil Equity Funding 2017
Adventures Unlimited Scotland CIC is a not for profit Community Interest Company. We provide adventurous activities to young people in the Highlands who have disability or disadvantage. Our programs are designed to bring about lasting change in the lives of the young people we work with, and to develop skills and understand-ing which promotes effective learning and confident individuals. We can work with your school to improve the educational outcomes of children affected by poverty through Outdoor Adventure Learning using Pupil Equity Funding. Our interventions are targeted towards the needs of the individual and we use the activities to promote social and emotional well being, and healthy lifestyles.
We involve schools, parents/carers and young people in the planning of our programmes, and we can work towards or contribute to Child’s Plans and IEPs. By consulting with stakeholders we agree priorities and targets and then design our activities to bring about successful outcomes. We measure the effectiveness of our work through gathering evidence and data triangulated between school, home and pupils.
Our staff are all highly qualified and experienced teachers or youth workers and we provide a high quality learning experience to the highest standards of safety and child protection. We are fully insured and licenced. Costs are kept to a minimum and we can work with up to 4 young people per session. Please get in touch to discuss how we can work in partnership with your school.
