“Becoming paralysed after falling from a cliff in Aberdeenshire, I know just how special it is to be able to escape the man-made world and experience the feeling of wind in your hair, salt water on your face and to have mountains surrounding you. Whilst my wheelchair gives me a lot of freedom, the sensation of being in a kayak or a sailing boat is something else. It’s these sorts of adventures that give me strength and inspire me in everyday life.
I believe that Adventures Unlimited Scotland will bring this kind of experience to many people, no matter of ability or ‘dis’ability.
I can’t wait to join in and get out on the water again!”
